Ralph Klotz- Controller Ralph Klotz is the east-coast man, originally from Pennsylvania. He has been goal-oriented throughout his life and that dedication shows. Upon graduating high school, Ralph attended Northampton Country Community College and it wasn't long before he went on to study at the University of Pennsylvania. Graduation day finally came and Ralph joined up with the US Air Force where he served for a time. He was hired by Bethlehem Steel Corporation, which was then the second largest steel producer in the country. He worked in several positions until he was made controller for a private company within Bethlehem Steel. Altogether, Ralph worked for the two companies for 30 years. Life eventually took him to Arizona and he currently lives in Mesa. Ralph, brought onboard with Rainforest Plumbing & Air in 2005, brings a wealth of knowledge and energy to the team. "I enjoy problem-solving with numbers," he says. He also likes working with so many great people. "I enjoy seeing the growth here at Rainforest and look forward to the constant push forward," he says. In just 4 years, Ralph has seen a time of immense growth at Rainforest P&A. "I know we are doing something right," he remarks confidently. Rhonda Wooder- Business Development Manager As a fifth-generation native of Arizona, Rhonda Wooder knows the Valley. Her grandfather provided fuel to the people of Tombstone as the owner of the very first gas station in the area so service is definitely is something that runs through her veins. In 1994, Rhonda moved to Tampa, Florida to attend school. Upon completion of her BA in 1997, the Valley beckoned her back home and she has lived here ever since with her canine counterparts, just miles away from the house she grew up in. After college, Rhonda was hired as an assistant manager at an apartment community. After that, she shifted gears and stepped into the role of a sales representative to the multi-housing industry. "I have been in the customer's shoes as well as the service provider's so it helps with understanding both sides," says Rhonda. Rhonda joined the team at Rainforest Plumbing & Air in June 2008. She found the transition to be very smooth since Rainforest provides service to roughly 80% of the multi-housing industry with which she is so familiar. She loves working with the company because of the shared vision of growth and success that is felt between all the employees. "I enjoy being a part of something that is a team effort and that is rewarding for the entire team", says Rhonda, who heads a team of professional sales representatives. "We work hard to provide the customer with top-notch service from start to finish."
Jud McKillop-HVAC Manager Jud has lived all over the place. Jud was born and raised in the Seattle suburbs however, work brought him to Las Vegas for a few years and then on to Austin, Texas for a few more years. Eventually, he made his way to Phoenix. "I realized that I need the sun to be shining more days than not in order for me to function," he jokes. Jud is no stranger to the workforce. Since he was just 15 years old he has held a number of jobs- pest control, grocery box boy, fast food cook, and firefighter/EMT to name just a few. Jud finally found his niche in property management and maintenance and he worked for Equity Residential as a maintenance supervisor for 14 years. Opportunity to join Rainforest Plumbing & Air came calling in February 2009. Currently, Jud is one of the team's HVAC managers in Rainforest's new, rapidly growing division. From a young age, he has valued the importance of quality work. "The things that motivate and drive me at work are sense of accomplishment, feeling that my efforts matter, being part of a successful team, and helping co-workers improve their skills," he relates. To Jud, a career is more than the 9-5's and weekly paychecks, it's a character-building experience. |
