Phil, I wanted to just express my thanks to your team who handled a very difficult situation very professionally.  On December 12th, we had two relatively minor repairs scheduled to be completed.   Myself and Rainforest both believed this repair to be routine and simple.  After both repairs blowing due to an expired glue the day and repair became anything but routine.   I believe true service is determined by how we handle ourselves when things don’t go right not by when they do.  In this situation after a flooded first floor and guest in-house Tom and Ross both were back on site within minutes.  They had a professional water restoration company on the scene within 30 minutes.  After many failed attempts at repairing the CY water line my anxiety become much more concerned.  Although not good that it went well into the evening…. it would have been catastrophic to go into the morning hours.  Tom and the other guys always made sure they communicated the situation so we could inform our guest,  they shared potential outcomes, and Devon even made trips back to the warehouse as late as 1AM in the morning.  At all times Tom stayed on site which is very important because my biggest fear is when you get off property I wonder if they will even come back.  They worked as a team on potential solutions and ultimately got the repair corrected just before 2am.  The repair cost us minimal need to compensate our guest and you were without hesitation available to discuss and adjust as necessary.  I know this was not a profitable repair in the short term but service does not go unnoticed. 




Thank you so very much for your follow up - Your service tech/field supervisor  Jack Fiedorowicz was extremely helpful in making suggestions regarding this situation. Although he, like myself and my maintenance guy, did not detect any odor in the apartment (that is not to say there was not any foul odor, just that during the times we were there, we could not detect any odor). Jack suggested that by changing out the sink might be a good solution. Since this seems like the least expensive and yet most efficient and effective way to go as the next step - we shall do this.   

Jack also suggested as a last resort, if changing the sink out did not rectify the situation, then we could contact your business again to possibly do a 'smoke bombing'. He did advise on the exact procedure and what we would have to do, should we follow through on this. 

The service / advise that was provided to us, not only by Jack, but by the very quick response from emails and phone contact, puts your business of RAINFOREST at the top of my list for plumbing.
