Sink Drains

Although we often take them for granted, sink drains are a vital part of a property's plumbing system. They ensure that wastewater gets where it needs to go- out of the bathroom and out of the building to the sewer main. Sink drains are most commonly made from black ABS pipe and feature a p-trap (the curved part of the drain) that prevents foul-smelling gasses from coming up out of the sink.

Sometimes, however, the drain gets clogged. Here are some of the most common sources of blockage to your sink drains:
